Angels are not omniscient beings, although their knowledge, especially that of archangels, is extensive. Their angelic power exists in the form of grace. grace as "an energy", but this energy is somehow connected to an angel's true form. Despite the fact that an angel's power is connected to its grace, telekinesis and superhuman strength. The restoration of grace replenishes the angel's powers and abilities.

The "physical appearance" of an angel's true form varies. For instance, Lucifer's angelic form is said by Uriel to be beautiful. Zachariah's angelic form has four faces and six wings, according to him, an angel's true form is often seen as brilliant white light. For these reasons, angels most often communicate with humans through dreams or through a vessel.

An angel's true voice is often heard as an ear piercing, high-pitched sound which can shatter glass.

When angels converse with each other in Heaven, they speak Enochian. This might be referred to as a telepathic link; angels also have some ability to read human minds.

Angels occupy a human vessel in order to manifest on Earth. The person they possess must consent to this, as opposed to demonic possession which is non-consensual. Angels and their vessels appear to be matched based on bloodlines, some of which are preserved by Cupids. It seems that while occupied, the vessel's blood is altered by the angel's presence.

Some angelic powers are innate, and some can be curtailed or enhanced by the hierarchy of The Host of Heaven.

Angels are extremely powerful beings with a wide range of abilities. Abilities vary with the class of the angel. For example, archangels have all the abilities of a normal angel, but they are enhanced, and they seem to have abilities that average angels do not possess.

Abilities thought to be universal among angels

Superhuman strength - The physical strength of an angel in a vessel significantly exceeds that of a human.

Telekinesis - Angels have the ability to move and influence objects with their minds.

Teleportation - Angels have the ability to teleport anywhere in the world as long as the area is not protected by Enochian sigils. They can teleport themselves and other beings.

Invisibility - Angels, even while occupying vessels, can render themselves invisible.

Healing - Angels have the ability to heal humans. When angels are disconnected from Heaven.

Angels are able to maintain their vessels without food, water, or sleep, and to heal them after they are injured. Their vessels also appear resistant to disease. Possessed vessels do not seem to age.

Sedation - Angels have the ability to make humans unconscious by placing two fingers on their foreheads.

Exorcism/Kill - Angels have the ability kill/exorcise demons by placing a hand on the forehead of a possessed individual as demonstrated by Uriel and Castiel. Extremely powerful demons are immune to touch, e.g. Alastair.

Supernatural perception - Angels are able to see objects and beings that are invisible to humans, for e.g. Reapers and Enochian Sigils.

Telepathy - Angels have the ability to communicate using their minds.

Dreamwalking - Angels can enter human dreams in order to communicate with them. They do not need to know where the person is to use this ability.

Soulreading - By reaching into a human's chest, an angel can read marks left on the human's soul by another angel. This procedure is very painful for the human, but leaves little physical damage.

Voice mimicry - Angels have the ability to sound like any human they choose.

Time travel - Angels have the ability to go backward and forward through time, though this is difficult without Heaven's assistance.

Special Abilities:

Memory Manipulation - Angels have the ability to take away and restore a human's memories. Angels can also implant fake memories.

Revelation - Angels can implant visions into a prophet’s mind.

Resurrection - Some angels are sufficiently powerful to resurrect humans, even from Hell.

Other Forms of Telekinesis

Inflicting Harm -

Pyrokinesis -

Electrokinesis -

Cryokinesis -

Weather manipulation -

Altering reality -

Matchmaking - Certain types of angels in the Cherub class, e.g. Cupids, can bring couples together by marking their hearts.

Destructive White Light - Similar to Lilith's ability in depiction, however comes with the blue tinge that represents angelic presence suggesting this is an extension of the Angel's true form. The light is powerful enough to kill a diner full of Eve's "perfect creations" the Jefferson Starships.

Flaming circle of Holy Oil.

This can be used to trap an angel.

Angel Banishing Sigil drawn in human blood. When a hand is placed on the sigil, angels are temporarily banished from the area. It can be used by humans and angels, and the angel who uses it does not disappear with the others.

Exorcism Chant - There is an exorcism chant to expel angels from their human vessels. It seems that the chant is not well known as only one demon, Alastair, has ever used it.

Staff of Moses

Salt Crystal

Angel Blade - Can be used by humans or angels.

Enochian Sigils

They can be used to disguise the location of those bearing the symbols. Enochian sigils can also be used to keep angels from entering a building.

Death's Scythe - Crowley states that it will kill an angel.

Cambion -

The Colt's power against angels is uncertain. It was ineffective against Lucifer, but he stated that only five beings could not be killed with this weapon, so it is possible that the Colt could kill most angels.

Archangels can easily overpower angels, often killing or banishing them by snapping their fingers.

Certain beings, such as Eve, can inhibit an angel from using his or her powers. It is not known if this applies to higher tier angels, such as the archangels. Eve existed before angels, and suggests that she has knowledge that angels lack.

■Angelic Possession (displayed by all angels) - Like demons, angels have the ability to possess human beings. But unlike demons, angels must bear the permission of the host before they can claim his or her body. Many angels don't randomly select a human to use, as they generally inhabit humans of special lineages. This ability seems to be the core where all their other abilities manifest from.

■Teleportation (displayed by all angels) - Angels have the ability to teleport anywhere in the world as long as the area is not protected by Enochian sigils. Whenever they teleport, the sound of wing flapping can be heard. Although, angels can appear silently it they so choose. They also have the ability to teleport others with them. Angels can also teleport others to a location without actually having to go to the location themselves. Anna Milton also suggested that angels may have the ability to teleport anywhere throughout the universe since she said that she would scatter Sam's cells across the universe to prevent Lucifer from bringing him back to life

■Telekinesis (displayed by all angels) - Angels have the ability to move objects with their mind. Their telekinesis is powerful enough to throw beings across a room, break a human's neck, or pin them to a wall. It seems angelic telekinesis can be refined to a point where angels can unscrew several screws of a pipe, which was displayed by Castiel. Castiel also showed that he mastered his telekinesis to a such a high degree that he was able to engrave Enochian sigils into the ribs of the Winchester brothers without breaking their flesh

■Super Strength (displayed by all angels) - Angels, inside vessels, greatly elevate the physical attributes of their host, like the strength and durability capacity. Due to this and other factors, humans shouldn't engage in combat with an angel unless their are armed with an angelic weapon.

■Killing Touch (displayed by Castiel & Uriel) - Angels have the ability kill demons by placing their hand upon their forehead. This ability is limited with lower ranked angels. Extremely powerful demons are immune to this power when a lower ranked angel like Castiel was unable to kill Alastair, a white-eyed demon. Castiel has shown that this ability can be used to prevent a demon from escaping its host and forcing the demon back into its human body

■Induced Sedation (displayed by Castiel & Michael) - Angels have the ability to make humans go unconscious by placing two fingers upon their forheads

■Invulnerability (displayed by all angels) - Angels enhance the endurance to physical pain and the immunity systems of their human vessels. Angels are unaffected by all diseases. Although angels can become drunk but it takes extremely large amount of alcohol, an amount that would kill a normal human being. An example of enhanced endurance to physical pain is when Uriel was completely unfazed when Castiel punched him through a brick wall

■Voice Mimicry (displayed by both Castiel and Anna) - Angels have the ability to sound like any human they choose as shown when Castiel perfectly mimicked Bobby Singer's voice, and also when Anna mimicked John Winchester´s employer.

■Healing (displayed by all angels) - Angels have the ability to heal any wound that a person possesses. When angels are disconnected from Heaven, this is one of first powers they lose as shown by Castiel's defection from Heaven

■Healing Factor (displayed by all angels) - Angels, inside vessels, enhance the regenerative abilities and system of their human vessels so that any damage that comes to their hosts' bodies is rejuvinated. Angels can also stop their vessels from aging and withering.

■Resurrection (displayed by Castiel, Zachariah, Joshua, & Michael) - Angels have the ability to bring back to life anyone they choose, regardless if the person's soul is in Heaven or Hell. Though if the person's soul is in Hell, an angel must go into Hell and retrieve the soul. If the resurrected person had their body cremated, angels can recreate the body. When an angel resurrects a human, all the scars the body previously had will be gone but an imprint of the angel's hand will be on the body. It seems that this ability does have its limitations, it seems that for an angel to recreate the body of a person, the angel must know the whereabouts of every cell of the person

■Time Manipulation (displayed by all angels) - Angels have the ability to go back and forward through time. They also have the ability to time travel with others. According to Castiel, this is one of their most powerful abilites and is extremely hard to accomplish even when connected to Heaven and when disconnected from Heaven it's nearly impossible. This ability seems to be less difficult for archangels. Also, an angel's ability of time manipulation extends to the angel stopping the aging process of his or her host. As soon as an angel possesses a human, the body of the human vessel completely stops aging so that when the angel leaves their human host, their body is in the same condition as it was when the angel possessed the human

■Reality Warping (displayed by Gabriel & Zachariah) - Angels have the ability to create anything out of thin air. While Zachariah showed that he was able to create advanced stages of diseases within a person, Gabriel has shown the ability to create living beings and imaginary realities out of nothing

■Telepathy (displayed by Anna, Uriel & Castiel) - Angels have the ability to communicate using their minds and read the minds of others. This ability also allows angels to enter the dreams of a person as well

■Memory Manipulation (displayed by Zachariah & Michael) - Angels have the ability to take away and restore a human's memories. Angels can also implant fake memories into a human as well. Zachariah showed that angels can take away all the memories of a human making him or her forget his or her entire life

■Immortality (displayed by all angels) - Although angels can die, they are essentially immortal due to the fact that disease nor time can kill them

■See Demons (displayed by Anna) - Angels have the ability to see the true faces of demons

■See Reapers (displayed by Castiel) - Angels have the ability to see reapers

The following powers have been displayed by only archangels:

■Pyrokinesis/Pyrogenism (displayed by Michael, Gabriel, & Castiel) - Michael has shown the ability to kill another angel by setting her ablaze from the inside. Gabriel also demonstrated this when he made flames appear on two candles just by snapping his fingers. Castiel later displayed this ability after he was resurrected by God a second time and made stronger than he was before.

■Cryokinesis (displayed by Lucifer) - Lucifer has shown the ability to freeze objects with his breath

■Electrokinesis (displayed by Raphael) - When Raphael first appeared before Dean and Castiel surges of electricity were coming out of his back

■Molecular Combustion (displayed by Lucifer) - With a snap of his fingers, Lucifer was able to speed up Casitel's molecules to the point where it caused him to explode

■Weather Manipulation (displayed by Lucifer, Michael & Raphael) - When all three of these archangels arrived on Earth, they disrupted the normal weather patterns of the area they arrived in

■Holy White Light (displayed by Michael, Castiel, & Raphael) - This ability looks very similar to Lilith's demonic white energy blast, but is far more powerful. Raphael used this ability to make Castiel explode into several small pieces. Castiel used this ability to kill several monsters at the same time

■Invisibility (displayed by Castiel) - After being resurrected by God a second time, Castiel used this ability to spy on Dean living a normal life and again when trying to see how much Dean, Sam, and Bobby have learned about his and Crowley's alliance

Angels are very hard to kill. The methods that are used to hurt or kill demons will not affect them at all. In "On the Head of a Pin", Uriel states that the only thing that can kill an angel is another angel. Although there are not many known, there are methods to stop or kill an angel:

■Blood Seal - If a person places his or her hand upon this blood seal that is placed upon a solid surface then all angels in the immediate area will be banished away. An angel can activate this seal as well. If an angel activates the seal then the angel who activates the seal will not be banished along with the other angels in the area. The blood seal can also be place upon a person's body. If an angel activates the seal this way, he or she will be banished along with the other angels.

■Exorcism Chant - There is an exorcism chant to expel angels from their human vessels. It seems that the chant is not well known as only one demon, Alastair, has ever used it.

■Holy Fire - The best way to trap an angel is to place them within a circle of burning holy oil. The angel will not be able to leave the circle. It should be noted that a circle of holy fire is not the equivalent to a devil's trap. When in the circle, the angel still has use of their abilities and are able to move, they merely choose not to leave the circle out fear of touching the holy fire. If an angel touches holy fire then not only will the human vessel be destroyed and die, the angel will be killed as well. Michael however is resistant to the holy fire and couldn't be killed by it. Most likely as he's the most powerful Archangel of all.

■Angelic Blade - An angel can be killed by stabbing him or her with an angelic blade. It seems that the angel must be stabbed in a vital area of the human body, such as the head, heart, neck, or stomach. When an angel is stabbed by an angelic blade, a burst of bright, white light is released and angel wings are burned on the surface underneath the body of the angel's human vessel

Uriel's body after being killed by an angelic blade

Added by Fallen1130

■Archangel Blade - Archangels seem to have their own angelic blades that are more powerful than normal angelic blades. It seems that a archangel blade is capable of killing both normal angels and archangels as shown when Lucifer killed Gabriel with his own blade.

■Enochian Sigils - When Enochian sigils are placed on humans' rib cages, they prevent any angel from detecting and finding them. They can also be used to prevent angels from entering a building by painting them on the building's walls.

■Hex Bags - Hex bags can used to prevent angels from detecting and finding anyone.

■Colt (Possibly) - Castiel believed that the Colt was the only thing that could possibly kill Lucifer. Although, a shot to the head failed to kill Lucifer, it can still be implied that the Colt is capable of killing normal angels, such as Castiel himself.

Known AngelsEditAngelsEdit

■Anna Milton

Angels are a race of supernatural beings native to Heaven. They are extremely powerful beings that were created by God. They were created before humans. But although both were created by God, angels are very different from humans.

Angels are extremely powerful beings in the supernatural world. Their true forms or visages prove fatal to most mortals, however, some special people can view their true visages without suffering lasting effects; demons also can't look at them in their true form without damaging their host. Although not physically seen, an angel's true form has been seen as a brilliant white light; respectively, angels do have wings.

Angels consider themselves family to one another, referring to each other as brothers and sisters. The angels also refer to God as their father. Even though God is their father, the majority of the angel population has never actually met God or seen his true face.

Unlike humans, angels do not reproduce. One of the things that humans have that angels don't is sex. The only way for them to have sex is to possess a human.

Archangels are extremely powerful celestial beings that were created by God, and are imbued with immense power and authority. They were made before the other angels, and were born in this order: Michael, Lucifer, Raphael and Gabriel. Their true visages prove destructive and overwhelming to mortals and prove fatal in some instances. Most mortal vessels can't properly contain them, and because of this, they require their true, predestined vessels in order to stay within a vessel for as long as needed because other vessels will eventually decompose and degrade from an essence of an archangel. Michael and Raphael are tethered to prophets, and will intervene when a prophet is in danger and or when one tries to manipulate prophecy. All archangels possess abilities inherent in all angels but at an elevated level, and possess other, more special abilities that angels are incapable of using.

Seraphs are angelic beings that were created by God and were born in Heaven. Not much is known about them in Canon other then the complexion of their true visage which consists of: four different faces of earthly animals (one of a lion) and six enormous wings. Their ranking within the Host remains undefined. Zachariah is an example of a Seraph.

Cupids, also called Cherubs in the celestial chain or sphere, are ordered as third class angels. They all follow Heaven's orders, particularly serving Michael. In their occupation, they are responsible for manipulating affection in certain, special bloodlines likewise with Dean and Sam.

Fallen Angels There are two types of angels that considered fallen angels. The first category of fallen angels are angels that disobeyed the will of God and refused to bow down to humanity. These angels were led by Lucifer, but eventually cast out of Heaven and thrown into Hell by the Archangel Michael. It is believed that many of these fallen angels were changed into powerful demons.

The second category of fallen angels are angels that have voluntarily left Heaven of their own free will. Instead of being thrown into Hell, these angels fall to Earth. When they "fall" to Earth, the angels can either possess a human keeping their powers or remove their grace, the source of an angel's power, and become human. It is possible for the fallen angels that became human to regain their grace and reclaim angelic powers once again. Although these angels willingly left Heaven and weren't forced out, they are still considered traitors among their brothers and sisters in Heaven.

All fallen angels are either permanently exiled from Heaven or wanted captured or killed. Due to being separated from Heaven, fallen angels are less powerful than they would be if they were connected to Heaven. The exception to this might be archangels. Both Lucifer, who was forcibly cast out of Heaven, and Gabriel, who willingly left Heaven, seemed to retain a huge amount of power regardless of the fact they were both cut off from Heaven.

Powers Celestials are extremely powerful beings that possess a wide range of abilities. Firstly, inside vessels, angels greatly elevate the physical attributes of their host. Although, archangels are much more particular with whom they can occupy, as they specifically require the bodies of their respective true vessels, as other mortal vessels will eventually wither and decompose while containing an archangel. Archangels possess all the abilities inherent in every angel but to an elevated degree, as well as other, more special abilities that most angels are incapable of using like weather manipulation, control over the elements and they all possess a more wide knowledge and understanding of the Universe than even applied with angels. The following list documents their powers and abilities:

Uriel The SpecialistUriel comes to Earth, manifests inside a vessel, and stands with Castiel in trying to prevent the breaking of a seal in 4.07 It's The Great Pumpkin, Sam Winchester. He is introduced to the Winchesters as a "specialist", and appears to be junior to Castiel, being placed under his authority. He exhibits disdain for both humanity and demons. By 4.16 On The Head Of A Pin, he has been made Castiel's superior. He clandestinely breaks the Devil's Trap holding Alastair, intending for him to kill Dean. Uriel secretly supports the release of Lucifer so that the archangel can return to power. He is one of a group of rebellious angels with this goal, and he has been trying to recruit other angels to the cause; he kills those who refuse. He eventually reveals his plans to Castiel in an unsuccessful attempt to recruit the other angel, and they fight. Uriel gets the upper hand over Castiel, but Anna kills him, saving Cas.

Uriel is also seen in 5.13 The Song Remains The Same when Anna travels to 1973 and recruits a younger Uriel to help in her attempt to kill Mary and John Winchester and prevent Sam's birth.

Anna Milton

Anna The Fallen AngelAnna was originally Castiel and Uriel's superior, but she chose to remove her Grace and become human. When Dean is saved from Hell, she begins to hear the angels speaking. Alastair wants to capture her in order to find out what the angels are doing, but Dean and Sam rescue her, and Pamela Barnes helps her regain her memories of having been an angel. Anna is under a death sentence for disobedience, but she is able to regain her Grace from Uriel and becomes an angel again.

Later, Anna tries to get Castiel to join her and stop following orders, but he refuses. She kills the traitor Uriel to save Cas. After the events of 4.21 When The Levee Breaks, Anna meets with Castiel in an undisclosed location, and a group of angels take her back to Heaven for "reprogramming".

When Anna returns in 5.13 The Song Remains The Same she travels back in time to kill Sam's parents and prevent his birth. She believes this will prevent Lucifer from possessing him and end the Apocalypse. She fails, and Michael disintegrates Anna with a touch for interfering with Heaven's plan.

Zachariah - Castiel's SuperiorZachariah is a powerful celestial that was under Michael's command. In his true angelic form, has four faces and six wings. Upon Uriel's death, Zachariah is deployed from Heaven and manifests on Earth in a vessel. He has significant authority over other angels. Zachariah is a direct superior of Castiel, and can even command Joshua, an angel who talks directly to God.

Zachariah plays a major role in the plan to allow Lucifer to be released so that Michael can kill him. Once Lucifer is freed, Zachariah takes increasingly aggressive actions to force Dean to consent to being Michael's Vessel. His failures on this score embitter him. According to Zachariah, he was greatly respected by all of his angel colleagues before being assigned Dean's case because he delivered consistent successes. His reputation is damaged by Dean's refusals, and he is 'fired' by his superiors. Michael then gives Zachariah one more chance at the task of recruiting Dean with a plot involving the resurrection of Adam, Dean's brother.

Ultimately even this effort fails, and Zachariah is killed by Dean with an Angel Killing Sword.

Archangel LuciferLucifer is an archangel. He is the younger brother of Michael, and the older brother of Gabriel and Raphael.

He claims that he was expelled from Heaven "for loving God too much". After Lucifer created Lilith, the first demon, in defiance of God, he was imprisoned by God and bound by 600 seals, and only 66 seals had to be broken for his cage to open. The demons multiply, and come to view Lucifer as their deity or 'father', although few have seen him.[29]

Lucifer is freed from his cage when Sam kills Lilith - her death breaks the final seal. Once on Earth, Lucifer possesses the body of a man called Nick, although his true Vessel is Sam. He brings about chaos on Earth in the form of the Apocalypse. Epidemics and natural disasters result, and the Four Horsemen roam free.

After Sam assents to being Lucifer's Vessel, in an initially unsuccessful ruse to trap the devil, Lucifer faces Michael. He argues that they do not need to fight, but Michael says that Lucifer must be destroyed. Before they can begin the final battle, a moment of connection with Dean allows Sam to wrestle control of his body back and fling Lucifer, and Michael, into the the cage which was opened by the Horsemen's Rings.

Archangel RaphaelRaphael is an archangel. He is a younger sibling of Michael and Lucifer, and the older brother of Gabriel.

The archangel that found and fended off Lilith while she was close to Chuck, may have been Raphael. Raphael may in fact be the archangel who was assigned to protect Chuck Shurley because he found and destroyed Castiel in Chuck's presence. He manifests on Earth in his vessel Donnie Finnerman to eliminate a conflict between angels and demons at a gas station in Maine. He wanted to bring Dean Winchester to Michael, who was in Heaven. Raphael was lower than Michael in command, but he still has proven to have authority over some angels.

Raphael is the prime supporter to the plan for Michael to battle Lucifer, currently leading an army of angels to his cause.

Castiel believed that he knew God's location. Castiel and Dean trap Raphael in a circle of Holy Oil, but he denies knowing the whereabouts of God.

Following the imprisonment of Michael and Lucifer[18] Raphael tries gain control of heaven's weapons so he can release them. He tries to obtain the Staff of Moses which has been stolen by the angel Balthazar. Castiel tries to stop him but is overcome. Just as Raphael is about to kill Castiel, Balthazar appears and turns Raphael's Vessel into a pillar of salt using Lot's Salt. This destroys the Vessel and gives both Balthazar and Castiel a break from Raphael until he finds a new vessel.[14]

Archangel GabrielGabriel is an archangel. He is the youngest sibling of Michael, Lucifer and Raphael.

Before God left Heaven, he was deemed God's greatest messengerS5Com Gabriel cared deeply for God and all the other angels. When the creation of humanity prompted confrontations between his angelic brethren and God, he retreated to Earth. After arriving on Earth, he disguises himself as a Trickster. In this role he goes about giving people their "just desserts" - punishing people in a way that ironically fits what he sees as their 'crime'. He embraces the good life - wine, women and food - that accompanies a Trickster.

In his role as the Trickster, he meets Sam and Dean several times. After Lucifer is freed, Gabriel attempts to force Sam and Dean into accepting their roles as vessels so that the fighting between his brothers will at last come to an end. Sam and Dean counter with the suggestion that Gabriel join the fight against Lucifer, but Gabriel still finds the prospect of doing harm to his family, or watching them do harm to each other, difficult to bear. Like Michael, Gabriel continues to profess love for Lucifer even after what he's done.

Finally Gabriel chooses to fight for humanity against Lucifer, claiming that God was right: humans are better than angels. He dies providing Sam and Dean the chance to escape. He also reveals the potential of the Horsemen's Rings to imprison Lucifer and stop the apocalypse.

Archangel MichaelMichael is an archangel. He is the eldest brother of Lucifer, Gabriel and Raphael. After God left Heaven, he was given authority over all of Heaven. God ordered Michael to banish Lucifer from Heaven and then God imprisoned Lucifer in a Cage locked with 600 seals. Michael obeyed, but his relationship with Lucifer would be forever damaged, and Michael would come to blame Lucifer for God's absence. Michael still professes great love for his younger "brother", as he refers to Lucifer. Michael is the primary supporter of an angelic plan that would result in Lucifer's release, enabling him to destroy his younger brother. Michael sees the defeat of Lucifer as his destiny and the act of "a good son". Raphael and Zachariah are also key supporters of the plan.

Dean is Michael’s true vessel, although when Dean continues to refuse this role, Michael is able to use Dean's half-brother Adam. He was also able to employ Dean's father, John Winchester, as a vessel in order to intervene in 5.13 The Song Remains The Same.

After Lucifer possesses Sam, Michael confronts him at Stull Cemetery, but their battle is interrupted by Dean. When Sam momentarily overcomes Lucifer's possession of him, Michael tries to stop Sam flings Lucifer into Lucifer's Cage, but he too falls in and is imprisoned there.

Angel JoshuaJoshua is an angel who monitors the Garden, also called Eden, in Heaven. He is known for speaking to God, although they do not converse face to face. Joshua was seen in Heaven in 5.16 Dark Side Of The Moon.

Angel BalthazarBalthazar is an angel who fought alongside Castiel during the last angelic war. Castiel thought that he had died in the fighting. In fact, Balthazar faked his death, taking a number of powerful artifacts, including the Staff of Moses and Lot's Salt, with him. He has been on Earth enjoying a rather hedonistic lifestyle, and has bought at least one human soul. He has become something of an ally to Castiel.

VirgilVirgil in an angel who formerly managed Angelic Weapons as the Weapons Keeper of Heaven. He is later hired as a "hitman" by Raphael. He is currently trapped in the Alternate Earth.

RachelRachel is Castiel's lieutenant during the angelic civil war, and refers to herself as his friend. However, she decides that his tactics are unacceptable and attempts to kill him, but is herself killed instead.

A Cherub AngelCupids are angels of the Cherub order, "third class", according to Castiel. They represent a lower order of angels.[13] There are dozens of them stationed on Earth, and Castiel states that they have been misunderstood by humans. They can manipulate the nature of human attraction, allowing them to make even the most opposite of humans fall in love.

A cupid is first seen in 5.14 My Bloody Valentine.

Angel Henchmen

Angel Henchmen taking Anna

Angel Soldier of RaphaelThese anonymous angels appear to serve the executive members of the Host like Zachariah and Raphael. They often accompany higher angels when a specific task must be completed. They are primarily silent.

Their first appearance may be in 4.21 When The Levee Breaks, when they come to capture and escort the fugitive Anna Milton back to Heaven. Castiel kills two angel henchmen in 5.01 Sympathy For The Devil, and in the same episode Dean banishes them along with Zachariah. In 5.18 Point Of No Return, Castiel kills two more at the site of Adam Milligan's resurrection, and a fifth in the subsequent attempt to rescue Adam. In the same episode, he banishes four others with an Angel Banishing Sigil carved into his vessel.

In Season 6, a group of henchmen acts as soldiers for Raphael in his attempts to gain control of Heaven. During 6.03 The Third Man, a henchman spying on Castiel speaks for the first time. Of the three soldiers in the episode, Balthazar dispatches one, Sam and Dean banish a second, and Castiel kills the third. The henchmen appear in the following episodes: 4.21 When The Levee Breaks, 5.01 Sympathy For The Devil, 5.16 Dark Side Of The Moon, 5.18 Point of No Return, 6.03 The Third Man and 6.20 The Man Who Would Be King.

  1. Where did you get that font and how can I get it? Very nice blog by the way, it was very intriguing.
